It’s been quite a busy time for us of late at Lakeside Kitchen & Bar. The recent heatwave has seen plenty of customers passing through our doors coming to enjoy the delicious food and refreshments we have on offer.

We’ve also been making a few updates to the restaurant that we hope are going to make your next visit to Lakeside even more enjoyable than before.

Among the exiting new additions is a covered area with sliding doors. This leads to the decked outdoor section where visitors will now be able to sit with their pets – even if it’s raining cats and dogs. This new area also increases the capacity of Lakeside for events during the winter months.

Inside the restaurant, we’ve also had a bit of a revamp. Local artist Lee Mason was tasked with helping to decorate the interior of Lakeside and he’s done an amazing job. His incredible designs have given the restaurant a modern look while maintaining our key values of local suppliers and homemade food – come and see for yourself!

We’re delighted with the new additions to the restaurant but we’re not resting on our laurels. We want to keep the heat on even when summer’s gone so in September we are installing a log burner. It will be ready just in time for the colder months of the year and we can’t wait to experience the cosy, new arrangement once it’s fired up.

Although we’ve had a bit of a facelift you can rest assured that our fantastic food and drink will still be as delicious as ever. We hope to see you down here soon!

Are you a local supplier? We’re looking to increase our network of salad and vegetable growers. Please get in touch with us on 01733 233218 or email
