About Us

Lakeside Kitchen and Bar and Ferry Meadows Café are run by Meadow Brown Restaurants Ltd, a family business owned by Husband and Wife, Raj and Neera Regmi.

Both venues have been fully refurbished to create two of the best restaurants/cafes in Peterborough; they are cosy, dog friendly, relaxing and flexible.

Raj has always worked in a catering environment; before moving into the Peterborough food scene he ran a variety of amazing venues and a park in London.

Raj said “We started our own business in March 2013 at Ferry Meadows Café. It was the scariest yet most exciting time of our career and we have also managed to add Lakeside Kitchen & Bar, Ferry Meadows to our profile. We are very proud to be working with the Nene Park Trust in such a special venue.”

“We provide the best quality food cooked fresh every day. We use Grasmere meat and Hambleton Bakery supplies all of our yummy bread and rolls.”

In September 2019, Raj & Neera also added Delamere Forest Café to their portfolio. This popular venue is set in the heart of Delamere Forest, a shady oasis in the midst of the agricultural landscape of the Cheshire Plain.

The ambitious couple then added Nottingham Castle and Lincoln Cathedral Cafe to their portfolio in very quick succession in 2021.

The most recent additions are the Fuel Tank Kitchen and Balloon Bar at the Engine Yard, Belvoir Castle, and the Duchess’ Parlour at Belvoir Castle.
